You're historic escape in Happy Valley

Welcome to the original general store for the Spruce Creek area in the village of Franklinville!

Take some time to get away and relax in Happy Valley, surrounded by Rothrock State Forest.  It's the perfect place to be centrally located to everything around, whether it's a trip to Penn State Main Campus, a fishing trip in the many world-class fly fishing streams, or a day on Raystown Lake.

A completely renovated and updated historic building.

When we took over the building, it was in desperate need of some love.  It has always been a very special place to us, and while many people thought it was beyond saving, we were able to find a contractor in the area that thought it was just as special and worth saving as we did!  Putting our heads together, we added things like a kitchen, bathrooms, and heating and cooling to a building that never had them.  While there are still limitations to saving a building that is almost 200 years old, the little quirks in it are what make it unique and serve as a reminder of the test of time it has withstood.

• Open first floor with living, dining, and kitchen area
• Master bedroom with king size bed
• Bunk room with 4 single beds or 2 king beds
• Game room area with poker/bumper pool table
• 1 Full bathroom on the first floor and a half bath on the second floor
